 Suspect Type Fault With Bloc Hornet Shades, 2010-07-08
I bought a first pair of these specs a few weeks ago and regrettably found a defect in the frame. They broke about 2 weeks in. Very swiftly the distributors sent me 2(!) new pairs (I thought lucky me) but again they have lasted only 2 weeks before failing in exactly the same place. I would not reccomend purchasing this potetntially faulty product unless there's eveidence that they've fixed this problem? Nice glases, really light, pretty and functional but really annoying when they break. I'd expect more freom Bloc.

 Nice light sunglasses, 2010-06-23
I purchased these sunglasses to use whilst driving and to be honest they are perfectly acceptable. They have a nice light weight design with a high gloss black finish. Whilst they are not exactly cutting edge from a design point of view, they look a bit retro to be honest, they are nice and comfortable to wear. I've been wearing them for the last few sunny days whilst driving long distances and they work pretty well, the polariser cuts down the glare and stops your eyes from aching. You could also wear tthem whilst running/cycling as they are similar in design to my cycling glasses.

I bought these for running and they work great. They do just what they say and seem fairly durable on the few runs I've been on with them. The only mark down I would give is that the reason I bought these cause they looked larger and more square, which is what i perfer, but when I received them i realized they were much smaller than what I thought. I personally don't care , because they work great, but just thought I would let you know if you, like me, are fond of square framed glasses. These are not.

The sun glasses look good, fit well and would have been great except for the view through them. I found they made everything go slightly out of focus. I was driving and kept moving the glasses up and down checking on the focus and it was if I was wearing someone else's prescription glasses (I don't wear glasses but you know what I mean). The effect was worse if you looked to either side of the lenses rather than straight ahead. When I got home I asked my wife to try them and see what she thought and she got the same effect. I even wondered if there was some sort of thin protective cover on the lenses, but no. Anyhow, I returned them, unimpressed.

I have never bought sunglasses online before, as i'm usually picky about that kind of thing. I was very short of time however, so had a quick scan through a few different pairs and thought that these looked pretty good so took a risk on them and it really paid off.
Really happy with the look of them, dark and sleek with a comfortable fit. They wrap around your eyes well and cut out 99% of the light, which makes them great for sports and driving etc. The best thing about them is the lenses, which cuts out all of the glare and gives you fantastic vision - even in really wet and sunny conditions. I would have happily paid twice the price for these if not more. No issue with the frame for me either, which had initially concerned me from a previous review.
