This is so much better than the nameless eqivalent it replaced - both in looks and performance. The black and chrome appearance looks quite elegant and the handset(s) feel not insubstantial in use. I am slightly "mutton" and voice reproduction is so much better. The phonebook allows 200 entries, which is a big plus for me; my previous system only had a 50 capacity. There is an excellent feature which allows copying of phonebook details between handsets - saves a lot of tedious manual inputting. So far in the time that I have had it, I haven't found a real demerit. Yes, the handset display is a bit garish in a bedroom at dead of night, but a bit of ingenuity .....
All-in-all, an excellent piece of kit, the instuctions for which make no false claims - well none that I've found so far!

Having bought a digital telephone a few years ago in order to keep up with the national trend of going DIGITAL just to find that the phones were in fact a bit useless. However these Panasonic telephones are 100 times better than the previous ones I had. They are easy to use, (the instructions are so simple), the volume on the phones just great, answer machine is so simple and they look fab as well. I would recommend these to anybody in fact I already have.

I bought these to replace BT handsets which I had never been happy with and eventually stopped working for no apparent reason. My main gripe was the bad quality of the answer machine replay of messages, and these Panasonic ones have excellent sound. I now don't have to play messages several times to understand them.

These handsets were very easy to set up. Great that the phone numbers only have to be entered into one handset then they can all get copied onto the other. I have also recently discovered that if you have 'Caller ID' in your phone package and the number is in the handset it displays the caller - great for screening!

They lose the star because of the ringtones - not a great selection.

Plenty of positive reviews for this product already, so why another one? Simple.. I was sceptical of buying a replacement set of phones for home, after all a phone is a phone is a phone.. right?

Well.. wrong... as I have been VERY impressed by the quality, function, ease of use and overall looks of this phone duo. It looks GREAT, the display dims once the phone is back in the cradle (or you can switch it off completely).. so it isnt glaring at night. The ring tones can be made LOUD if your a bit deaf.. and plenty of tones/music to chose from (all polyphonic midi type tunes). Answer machine is superb.. easy to program, easy to record your own greeting, easy to play back messages left.

A good speakerphone, again.. easy to switch back and forth from if needed. I have Virgin MEdia for my phone line, so I got them to enable CallerID and its cool that the phone number pops up nice and big in the display and lets me decide whether to answer it or not.

A handy feature is when you add a number to the phone directory... you can of course assign a name to match the phone number... so "MUM" pops up if Mum calls... but the handy feature is being able to copy the updated directory on one phone to the other.. so both phones will always be up to date in terms of callers stored.

All in all... these phones are VALUE FOR MONEY !! You can buy cheaper, but IMHO you wont buy better !!!!
