To start with, if you want 100% bomb proof IPhone protection, look elsewhere. If you want to look after your IPhone without changing the basic dimensions of it, look no further. So far, four people I know have seen mine and bought one and have been happy ever since. It enables you to add a bit of funk to your IPhone with different colours.When I dive, I leave my phone in a box with keys and other phones etc and the marks on the case/screen protector are evidence to the state my IPhone would be in without it. An added bones is the matt finish is much grippier in the hand compared to the shiny back of the IPhone. Be warned that the screen protector (2 provided) will attract a molecule of dust from a thousand yards and leave a bubble on your screen, so GREAT care needed when fitting. Mine has started to look a bit shabby now and I will simply buy another incipio as I think they are ace. Question is, classic black or something different? :)
 Causes Scratching to the Crome Surround, 2010-06-10
I bought the Incipio Feather case cause I wanted something that would not ruin the asthetics of the phone too much but protect it from scratching and tarnishing, but after several months of use I'm now quite disappointed.
The Incipio Feather case is a hard backed casing (as opposed to other soft casings) that fits snuggly around the back of the curved iPhone, it "snaps" onto the outer crome edging around the front of the device.
The case *does not* stop ingress of dust and particles behind the casing and around the camera lens, so from time to time you find you have to remove the case to clean the device up, this is where the issue lies.
As the case snaps on so tightly, removing it is a little tricky; I found that releasing the two corners at the bottom of the phone by the charge socket was the best way, but now I can see that where some harder particles got in, and by the way you have to remove the case, *it has caused scratching* to the outer crome surround of the phone.
This is not terrible scratching by any standard but it is noticable, I bought the case to keep the phone as mint as possible to maximise sell on value later and it hasn't worked to this effect and that's left me very disappointed.
I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a different casing, I have now gone to a leather sleave/wallet to keep my phone in which now, I find a far better solution!
Poor quality, 2010-06-09
When I first received this case the first thing that struck me were the sharp edges on all the cutouts, except for the camera lens hole which you don't tend to touch anyway. I had to use a nail file to smooth these off before I could use it, because it just wasn't comfortable to use in it native state as I expected it might cut my hand if I wasn't careful. I've now had this case for 5 months and there are cracks in 3 out of the 4 corners and a small piece of the case has broken away. Additionally the matt outer coating is now all cracked and has peeled away in places to reveal the cheap shiny plastic beneath. Its a shame really because it is a slim design which, had it been made with quality materials, could have been a decent case. However as it currently stands I couldn't possibly recommend this case to anyone.

The product as received is great, slim and a snug fit and complements the phone.
HOWEVER - Give it a few weeks and the matt finish peels away in patches leaving the case looking ugly and your hands and face covered in black flecks. The case has now been disposed of.
Good for a very short term cover but no long term durability and certainly not worth the price considering its longevity

fantastic cover. very thin and tight fitting so you can hardly notice it. comes with 2 screen protectors also. cannot recommend this enough
