 Incredibly basic phone - heavy, large with limited features, 2009-12-31
This is an incredibly basic phone. In its favour it is large, easy to use with massive buttons and a clear, backlit display. However, it is also heavy and much bigger than normal cordless phones. You wouldn't want to be holding it to your ear for too long.
The biggest problem is the phone book - you can only store an entry with up to 8 characters. So, "James - Mobile" or even "James - Mob" would not fit. Nor would a long name with the first letter of a surname - eg: "Jonathan P". Not even something very simple like "Ian-Office" will go in.
So, I would only recommend this for someone looking for a very, very basic phone - perhaps an old person as many of the reviews here have suggested. But having said that I don't know many old people who would want such a heavy phone.
I returned this via Amazon's excellent, no-fuss returns system - prepaid postage label via Royal Mail / The Post Office.

This phone suited the requirements of my "aged" mother (88) -
easy to hold : larger than normal keys / easier to use.
Understandable instructions on use.
Recognised manufacturer.
Fair price for a quality product.

Good all round phone. Quality sound. The right level of and simple to use functionality. Very good battery life. Four stars rather than five as a little pricey against competition.

Easy to set up, easy to use just have to watch not to press the buttons on side of handset when using, other than that great phone very pleased with it.
