 Useful piece of kit at a good price, 2010-07-01
The flexibility of this piece of kit makes it an ideal travellers companion. It feels a bit flimsy but so far is working well and is a steal at the price.
 Not impressed, 2010-07-05
Bought this as I broke my other one and liked the look of it as it also came with a car charger. Regrettably the actual plug charger doesn't charge my ipod although the lead is fine. It also gets hot immediately and smelt like it was burning.
It did arrive rather quickly just a shame about the charger :(
 Fried iPhone, 2010-07-28
The first time I used the plug socket and cable it gave a pop and subsequently fried my iPhone 3GS, yet to find out the full extent of the damage but I fear the worst. Therefore I wouldn't buy this product again. Prior to trying it I bought a second set for my girlfriend to carry as a spare that will be sent back on receipt. Not happy to say the least!
This product does not work., 2010-06-07
This product does not work. Tested with the original iPhone and iPhone 3G, plug it in to the car charger and it will make the usual noises, but the iPhone is not being charged. I think there is just enough power to maintain the batteries current condition but it certainly does not charge. The connection to the cigarette lighter socket is also very poor. Avoid this product.
 Flimsy but Good Value, 2010-07-09
The wire is very thin (a three cord very thinly coated wire), however, the APPLE wire they gave me with my Ipod Touch cracked and split within a MONTH of useage so I am not too bothered with this. The wall socket works (and so far hasn't gone on fire as people previously mentioned, although would advise to KEEP AN EYE on it and NOT leave it in the room unattended just incase). The car charger I haven't tested yet, I will eventually. So far, they are well worth the money, as my previous charger was falling apart and literally electrocuted me last week. I'm happy with my purchase and it will do for now. No complaints. You get what you pay for with this.
