I've owned this phone for a couple of weeks now. It is both better and worse than I expected. It is nicely compact and thus very portable. The volume controls on the phone bypass controls on the computer, making one take the phone from one's ear in order to make adjustments rather than being able to make adjustments on the computer itself. And the volume controls on the phone are not as sensitive as they should be, nor do they provide an adequate range, in my opinion. Sometimes it is difficult to hear others when using this as a flip phone. I like the phone and think the build and quality are almost there, almost where they should be.

For my busy desk, its small size is very suitable. Installation was just plugging it into the USB. Skype on my Macbook recognised it immediately and switched automatically the sound input and output from its usual channels to the Panasonic. Handsfree mode works beautifully. The speaker gives out crisp and clear sound and there isn't the annoying acoustic feedback that I get from Macbooks own audio i/o system. I recommend it.
