recently purchased the Panasonic KXTG8322, excellent delivery of an excellent item. Easy to install, just remember to use the telephone cable supplied with the product. So many choices of ring tone and wallpapers. Recommend the item.
Great DECT telephone with answering machine, 2009-10-10
Had the dual handset telephones for about 4 months now.
I have found the handsets to be quite well built, they have withstood knocks and also been dropped a short height to the floor without any damage. The handsets have very good battery life and a reasonably simple user interface to store telephone nos, configure ring tones and change the date and time. I particularly like the handsfree and headset features, very useful if you work from home so that you can type etc while conversing. The speaker and microphone on the handsets produce excellent sound qualit. I have had no interference from any electrical devices while using them.
The answering machine is good, playback of messages are clear and simple to operate from either the basestation or handsets.
I am very pleased with my choice, this is the best DECT telephone (out of 4 previous manufacturers) that I have had so far.

This was as advertised and everything worked as required. I had to ring their tech support before I purchased the product because a review had said that once on, the speakerphone couldn't be turned off.This was actually someones finger-trouble because it could be, but the method wasn't obvious.
My undertsanding was that the dect standard allowed any dect handset to be used with the base station. This proved only to be partly true. My biggest complaint is that one can't leave a voicemail message locally as with my previous phone, i.e. a voicemail memo. This proves annoying if, having taken a call, one needs to leave a message for someone else. With all the technology, the only method is to write a note!Panasonic can't provide a solution for this one. Rather a big oversight in my opinion. VERY inconvenient.

brilliant replacement for my old phones--very easy for for my arthritic hands to use,but volume of sound needs improving for those of us with some diminished hearing not yet needing a hearing aid!
Excellent phones, 2009-10-08
The phones are excellent and much better than the Bt ones they replaced.
The only slight fault is that there is no real standard ring tone but that is only a minor fault there are plenty to choose from.
Would recommend to anyone they look great and are very clear.
