BT PARAGON IN BLACK TELEPHONE
I purchased this telephone after seeing it on the BT website. Excellent substantial phone, does everything it promises to, well constructed and easy to use. I thoroughly recommend it.

I am very pleased with this phone. I have been very disappointed with the sound quality on many digital phones in the past but this corded phone really beats them all, the sound is crystal clear and with a host of other features, this phone for me is a great buy.

I wanted the phone for it's 200 Entry directory and this has worked out exactly as I hoped. I have used the sim card reader that works OK ditto for the send and receive text messages. The sound quality is good and every thing works as it should. A little time is needed to get used to searching for names and numbers in the directory, but the learning curve is short. In all a good phone that does what it says it does. I recommend it to all.
 Works, but not a good business phone, 2010-04-09
Unlike the Doro Audioline AUB300i Business Telephone With Speakerphone - White which I bought it to replace, at least this phone generates tones that the conference system I use every day can recognize so it serves its basic purpose. Unfortunately, with the Headset Agent 200 Noise Cancelling RJ11 For Office Phones BiNaural Two Ear With Quick Detach Bottom Lead there is a very bad hum that affects everyone on the conference call, not just me. Thanks to a comment in a review of the headset, I now have it plugged in to the handset socket which gets rid of the hum but makes using the phone a bit awkward. Another problem is that there does not seem to be a way to use the main phonebook to store numbers you want to use while a call is in progress - e.g. conference id code - but the speed dial numbers do work while on a call so once you work that out you can program in up to three of any of that sort of number you use regularly. The default ringtone is also a stupid polyphonic melody that adds to the impression that this is not a serious business phone.
