The Gamecom headset and this adapter are great, but not together. Despite being grouped together under "frequently bought together" - they are not compatible as the headset only has one jack, and the adapter requires separate jacks for mic and headphones.Speed-Link - Xbox 360 Live Headset Adapter

This does the job (connects ordinary two-jack 3.5mm PC headsets to the single-jack 2.5mm port on the Xbox 360 controller), but is extremely cheaply made and flimsy. I've got through two of them already, and I'm no hardcore gamer. Considering the terrible build quality, the price seems a bit excessive.

the person who gave this 1 star obviously did not read the description this adapter lets you hook up a standard pc headset while the halo 2 headset is for the original xbox. The product itself is built very well and my headset has not lost any quality ty speed link
