Product Description
The wireless handset that gives you the freedom from the use of your keyboard, mouse and monitor when making/receiving Skype calls. Simply scroll through your Skype contacts directly from the cordless handset to make a call (no need to refer to the pc screen). Also call any number worldwide directly from the phone using the SkypeOut service. To make a call simply select the name you want to talk to and press the call button. A good and inexpensive product. Skype sound tends to fade if one wanders around the house. In this respect not as good as the U.S. Robotics 'phone it replaces, which will not work with Windows 7.

Cannot get this phone to work correctly under Windows 7. PC keeps losing touch with the telephone. Tried to speak to the authors of the software (SkypeMate) which drives the phone but no response.

I am not the most technical of people, but I thought, reading earlier reviews and product details it would be easy to install. It was not, and two weeks later, it is still not working. In addition, the phone sits very badly on the cradle, and you have to jiggle it like mad to try to get it to charge. I wish I had not bothered to buy it.

I use this on my netbook with XP and it has been brilliant for several months now, occasionally Skype kicks me out but that is Skype not the phone. On the first call of the day I have to turn the volume on the handset to 100% after that it stays at that level and sound quality is good - it would be nice if I didn't have to do that every time but that is a small niggle. On the whole brilliant for the price and it does what I want it to do. It also worked on my PC with win 7, but the problem then is that all the sound goes to the handset as other reviewers have said.

Nice handset, installation was very easy. Worked immediately, sound quality very good. I'd definately recommend it.
