This is a great product, stronger then other optical cables I have come across and I have this hooked up on my PS3 and Sky+ to the reciever.

I've put Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS through this (from a Sky+ box and PS3) and it works perfectly, with my surroud sound system confirming it was receiving the appropriate sound format.

Bought this to connect a games console, have to say the difference between this and scart sound is startling.
If you've looked on the high street you will have seen that you can pay almost ten-times as much for these cables, I can't imagine many could tell the difference in sound!
