These are nice phones, had to send the first lot back though as couldn't receive incoming calls. To begin with we thought it was to do with the filters we fitted as removing one seemed to solve the problem but then it happened again and BT insisted it was nothing to do with the line coming into the house so we exchanged the phones. TOUCH WOOD, haven't had a problem with the second set but its still early days ... Contrary to other reports, sound is very clear both making and receiving calls, yes it is handy that you can transfer all your phonebook saved numbers at the press of a button. Also once the clock is set this is recorded on answering machine messages so no need to set a different clock for the answering machine. All in all, happy with these phones.

I don't use the phone much but still want something that'll do the job. I find it hard to find the 'sweetspot' when placing it to your ear. The 'hands-free' is too quiet. The shiny black finish gets grubby too easy and when we had hot weather it would become slippery. The image shows white writing on a black background but I can tell you it doesn't show up like that, it's very dim. The sound is tinny and the BT woman who just phoned me to talk about my broadband sounded terrible - I asked her to check her headset. I don't usually like to give a negative response but how else are people going to make their mind up about this phone!! Haven't tried the answerphone yet...I'll let you know. (I have gone through all the options BTW.)

I love these phones. They are really nice looking, simple to use and the ansafone is easy too.

In general I thought the telephone clear and easy to use.Once or twice the caller's voice faded and I asked them to speak louder only to realise that I must have stroked the "redial" button which controls volume and did so,downwards.Fingers now under control!
The answer phone does not give automatic record of time and date of call as old phone.This may have affected my choice but no big deal

Very nice, looks exactly as the photo, call clarity is excellent, very easy to use with most common features only needing one button press - what more needs to be said!
