Nice sound, not the best for comfort, 2010-07-30
I bought this headset for gaming and like others I've found the sound quality good and I've been told that the mic produces very nice sound quality as well. The only problem that I have with it is that it can get quite tight on the ears after an hour or so, even though I have quite a small head. The way that I've found to remedy this is to let the back of a chair wear the headset when I'm not using it. Although I'm sure that a cushion would work just as well! This stretches the headband enough to make it comfortable for those long gaming sessions.
 Chunky but funky, 2010-08-11
This headset is one of the best I have used in terms of sound quality - including ones which are 10x more expensive.
The USB function is very useful and worked instantly out of the box (With windows updates able to search for the driver).
The audio jacks work with no driver needed.
The only problem I have with these are that they are a little big, and feel pretty chunky. However, I'm not intending to wear a headset like this in public, so I really don't care. It is not enough of a problem to take away a star of rating.
There is a volume control on the wire and a mic on/off switch, which is very useful.
They DO work with my PS3 as well as my PC, and on both the quality is fantastic.
Pros:
Work on a range on devices including PS3 and sound recording equipment.
Sound great and have very good audio range.
Long wire.
USB works well and quickly on Windows.
Volume control and mic on/off switch are very useful.
Sound from around you is well cancelled.
Mic can twist both ways, so you can have it on the right or left of your face.
Cons:
Headset feels chunky and square
Mic isnt as ajustable as it could be
Mic swivel joint isn't as tight as it could be and can fall down when up.
All in all, I'm too impressed with the headset to take a star off for these very minor problems. Highly reccomended.
Plantronic Headset, 2010-08-15
As a person who normally doesn't like wearing headphones these are perfect. I use them regularly for one hour skype conversations and I forget I'm wearing them - they are light weight and do not press heavily against the ear. I am not a technical person so look at other reviews for technical specifications, but I can hear perfectly and others can hear me, so they do the job!

Have a baby who's a very light sleeper so these come in handy when I want to watch movies etc online. Excellent sound quality, and works well with Skype too!
