Not really what I wanted but works well and was delivered promptly, 2009-10-30 I really wanted a cordless phone without all the menu's etc as my wife has problems finding her way round them, she can't even use the answer machine service and erase them after use ,we just wanted a basic old style telephone but couldnt find one.
Disappointing, 2009-11-28 having owned the previous model, I find the handset too small to grip properly as it has obviously been designed to look like a mobile phone but sadly form has overtaken function. The set up is unecessarily complicated and the instruction leaflet does not cover all functions ( unlike the previous model). Clarity of reception is not very good either, but the biggest complaint is the display which is LCD, it should have been LED which would light up in use, it is difficult to see without standing by a window or under a good light.Overall, very disappointing.
broke, 2010-04-11 This is very cheap for the specs that you get, however you get what you pay for, i got it after 5 days of ordering it which was to be expected and i plugged it in and got it working very easyily. however within 3 days it broke. BAD BUY TO GOOD TO BE TRUE
It's a lightweight, I'm afraid., 2009-11-07 No handsfree option. Call quality echoey, thin and distant. Outgoing message sounded muffled. Display would be hard to read even if it had a backlight. Which it hasn't. The 5 ringtones are all unpleasant. In other words, some basic features are missing - and other basic features are badly implemented.
Construction is plasticky and light weight. So light weight that you'll keep wondering whether it has really settled onto the charging contacts when you put it back in the cradle. Pull the phone out. Put it back. Is it really meant to sit like that - with a gap between the phone and the cradle? Push the phone down a bit, close the gap. That's better. Let go and it springs up again, so you've still got a gap. I'd say cheap and nasty, only it's not really that cheap.
My advice is - spend a bit more on something a lot better. Average the small extra cost over the long lifetime of the phone and you'll be laughing.
Or - don't take my advice - buy this piece of rubbish - and average your large extra misery over the long lifetime of the phone. You'll be crying. For years.
BT telephone answering machine, 2009-10-30 I am not really satisfied with this purchase, although I was aware I was buying something "used". It is difficult to work out - installation-wise - and does not seem to pick up messages. Not enough instructions with the package.
