works perfectly, 2009-10-06 got this for using with sky multiroom, was a little bit fiddly setting it up but after initial setup units have worked without any problems. easier to use than ripping skirting boards up to install cables throughout the house, also same price as getting bt in to lay new cables but without the upheavel
Useless technology, 2010-04-14 Worked for about 2 weeks. No contact information on website (?). Why not? Trouble shooting information gobbledygook. Terminology and instructions equivalent to hitting the top of a TV when you cannot get a signal. Chucked it in the bin. Don't waste your money.
Fine with Sky HD & Sky+ (Both Amstrad), 2010-06-18 Worked straight out of the box with both boxes talking fine back to SKY
Sky HD box in the lounge and Sky+ in the playroom, this meant the signal needed to go through 3 brick walls to get to it from the base station.
I've also got a DECT phone system so no visible interference...
2nd slave was easier enough to configure, but did require powering down the sky+ box so see the connection.
Switch to D for data on the adapters...
Brilliant piece of kit, 2009-11-20 I bought the original two piece set to add a telephone line for an alarm system in a part of the house where a traditional hard wired extension would have been nigh on impossible to install. It was as easy as 123 to set up and was working faultlessly within a few minutes. I later added two extra slave units for SKY set top digiboxes so that I could use SKY multi-room. Again, installation was a piece of cake and they both worked faultlessly. It's worth bearing in mind that each slave unit has a selector switch that needs to be set according to whether a phone is plugged in or a modem/digibox. All in all, highly recommended.
didnt work for long, 2009-07-13 Bought the slave unit with two extensions. only one of the extensions worked and then stopped after about 2 months. wasn't impressed.
