This friction mount is excellent and well worth the money. If fits on your dash board without sticking any thing to your windscreen. When you arrive at your destination, you can just put it away in the glove compartment and no-one knows you have a sat nav..

This product is large, clunky & functions well, for those who find the Garmin windscreen sucker unable to cope with Heater vents or curved windscreens.
It will not stop vibrations from the dash reaching the SatNav.

It's huge, it's heavy and it's very stable in Mazda3 dashboard. Much better than de suction cup for the windscreen. 5 stars. :)

Having got fed up with the windscreen mount for my Nuvi350, I ordered this product with some reservation that it would stay on the dashboard.
Well I was totally wrong, the mount is large and heavy with a non slip material on the base and it sits like it was glued to the dash, even over bumpy roads and sharp bends it remains in place.
The SatNav can be adjusted horizontally and then locked into position, in addition to the movements availble via the universal joint.
My only complaint is the packaging, Garmin have encased it in heavy plastic that requires a stanley knife or sharp pair of scissors to cut, but be careful where you cut and what you do withb the leftovers as they are extremely sharp.
