Average rating of 4/5 Warm your car up first!, 2010-04-16
I initially got this product and thought it was a disaster - turns out some basic physics are involved.

You HAVE to get the air in your car and the mount considerably warmer than they will ever normally be to make this mount work.

Go for a drive, crank up the hot fans onto your windscreen so you're boiling etc (the warmer the better) and also get the sucker warm.

Now press it hard to the windscreen and flick the lever. As the car cools down, the small pocket of air inside the sucker will contract, forming an even tighter seal the colder it gets.

Conversely, if you try to attach it whilst cold, as soon as it warms up the air will expand - making it fall off!

Mine has been on for several weeks now with no problems.

Reasonably happy with the product but the price I felt was a little high. Does exactly what it says on the tin except for the fact that it falls off the windscreen every now and then. Delivery was prompt so overall I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Excellent product very solid and sturdy needs a few tweaks to get positioned as you like it but all in all well built and lots of adjustments can be made. Its backed by Nokia branding so therefore you know you are on to a winner, used in conjunction with the CR39 phone holder, dearer than most at £25 inc postage but this is good quality kit rather than after market rubbish.
