Would not be without it. Good for making free cordless calls via Skype and using local landline. I have used it with great delight for about two years both in this country and overseas.

The speaker is terrible and makes this phone almost unusable.

Installation was difficult and had to download software online to make it compatable with Windows 7.

The phone took only a few minutes to set up and create a skype account. Very quick and simple to do. The sound quality is great. I have used it for phoning landlines, mobiles and my mates laptop all using skype. Awesome!

Even though the phone came with a CD, I decided to download the drivers direct from the Philips website, installed them and downloaded the latest skype software version 4.1 - yay all is working well.

So, after reading a few of the reviews complaining that this skype phone doesn't actually work with skype I have come to realise that some people may not be able to follow simple instructions.

Yes, it DOES WORK with the latest version of skype!

I've had this phone for over a year now, and it has served my quite loyaly. I've just started having problems with the battery, but no biggy, its just two AA rechargeable batteries that can easily be replaced.

Very easy to use, once you get it up and running. Beware though, this phone requires the phone to be plugged-in to your computer with Skype running at all times.

Would recommend this phone if you use Skype frequently to make international calls. It has certainly kept me connected to friends and family.
