I, for one, utterly adore this phone! I got my first one when it originally came out, and I had the thing for over 3 years until it died an untimely death at the feet of a small child on the bus (knocked it out of my hand then stood on it - was not impressed). I got a slider phone after that and I couldn't get used to the keypad or any of the settings on it, and it seemed to freeze whenever I went near it.
In short, I repel technology, yet the original V3 (the basic model with no video camera) survived everything I could possibly do to it, which included being dropped down several flights of stairs on numerous occasions, and it never had a mark on it when it died. My only concern was how the number 8 on the keypad managed to fall off despite being flush to the phone.
The flaws: personally, I don't feel that a lack of video camera is a flaw, but there are those who would like their phone to sing, dance and do their ironing, as well as shoot 12 hours of video and have the storage space of an external hard-drive. If you use your phone as a camera or video camera, then this isn't the phone for you.
After a while (and I mean a long while), the battery starts to give up the ghost, but they are easily replacable, as are the chargers, which, sadly, aren't as durable as the phones themselves.
There's not a lot of space for music or downloads, but you can fit one of two small files on if you like your personalised ringtones, but the ones built in to the phone are pretty decent themselves if you're not that ringtone-conscious.
The pros: the contraption is indestructible! Mine went through hell and back and survived 3 years in the pocket/bag of a teenager, so you know it's built to last.
It does what it says on the tin. It's a phone; not a laptop, and it does exactly what a phone is designed to do, and it does it well. It has a very easy SMS and MMS style, it has great call quality, and it fits into your pocket nicely without looking like you're carting round a housebrick.

Not a happy experience. Bought from GMS Fonz and when it arrived the phone would not charge. Returned as defective and they say it never arrived back. Now pursuing the Post Office for compensation but am unlikely to get the full amount. A lot of trouble and nothing to show for it!

A great looking flip mobile phone made with style, but, what lets it down is within program functions and that of the dated data of avalable information to the user. Maybe what is required is an up dated program within todays feild of information of communication, finding what is important to the purchaser that of the vital importance within their world, whether that is the mobiles looks, or its ability to hold information and the power of memory that a mobile phone can hold.
Our technology is changing and the requirment needed in to days use, puts a heavy demand on such a tiny communication device and that of the designers ability, to expand our minds, in its ability and its internal functions viewing that image or future requirement is never easy.
