Generally exactly what I wanted, only adverse point being that the volume is quite quiet, even on highest setting.

I have had this answer machine for a couple of years. I find it quite irritating to use. For a start, the dating system (on mine) does not work properly - therefore I dont really know when the call was made. It holds 30 messages but the display goes to 9 only. I am just not as wild about it as some of the other reviewers.

This is a light machine and easy to use. It has a variable sound so it doesn't get too annoying when there are messages. I recommend it.
