Awesome little phone. Quite large and looks the business. It has a loud ring and a great speaker system along with on-hook dialing too. It is rotary dialing, but gives out a tone when your finger, that is in the req number hole, reaches the metal bar at the bottom so can be used for interactive menus etc. With the rotary dialing, it has to be said, and am really anal about things like this, but it's not the exact same sound that were with the orignial GPO phones, it's a soundalike but not the exact same. This obviously is not the original GPO phones that were around at the time but looks funky and really ties the room together. The ringer is the standard ringing bells that were on the GPO. Great design, great phone and great purchase. Am seriously debating about buying another one for downstairs.

Stylish old skool phone, 2009-10-05
This phone has none of the latest features and is probably not the easiest phone to use. That said, I rarely use my landline now and only need it for the internet connection, so I wanted a phone that looked great more than one that performed loads of functions. This phone looks fantastic and I have really grown to like it. It is a real style icon and for occasional use is fine.

Don't buy this for a main house phone or if you use the phone a lot. Do buy it if you'd appreciate a stylish addition to your home, which has a useful functional option.

Phone seems OK, but speaker phone functionality hopeless, 2009-09-21
Bought this to use mainly as a speaker phone, for which it is useless. Only seems to work when one party is speaking - if the other party speaks, it cuts out. Really unusable for speaker based conference calls. Had to return straight away.

The phone looks good,the key pad is clean and clear the only down side is if you have to put the phone down you need to go hands free you can't hang the phone on the top lug, also the screen is not illuminated and is difficult to see in poor light, that apart does what it says on the box.

I have used this as a speaker phone for the last 6 months and it has worked very well in that time. The handset on it is not great (very tinny), but the speaker functionality is excellent.

a very solid piece that looks good and is a great talking point with any guests. the mic could be a little more sensative but hold it close to you and its fine,just like in the films.if you're into nostalga it's perfect.

Ideal for my son who is 6 and wears cochlear implants. It enhances the volume so he can chat with his Nanny, but we can also turn it down for when we want to use it.
