bought this printer off ebuyer at an unbelievable low price, a great printer, easy to set up the wireless, software is easy to install as well. top quality, very well made, much better than my old HP, which costs me twice the money.

the 5 year lexmark warranty is an extra bonus, not like most other printers only come with 1 year warranty, i would say the warranty itself is worth the the money i paid for the printer.

overall, a top quality printer, well worth the money!

This is a fantastic printer. Very, very easy to change cartridges when they run out. But the cartridges last for ages. I haven't done an exact page count, but it must be about 1,500 pages of text on one black cartridge! Cheap too, if you find a good website. The scanner is extremely easy to use, especially with the feeder. The only downside is the 150 page paper tray. But I got the additional 2nd tray for about £30 and this holds the usual 250 pages. Great printer.

I have a long hate-hate relationship with printers, so I never believed I could find one that actually printed, printed well, scanned when you asked it to, let alone try and do something complicated like feed paper, but lo! I have been completely proven wrong. Here is a printer that even after 6 months does everything it says it does, it makes good quality printouts, its easy to set up and use and hasn't filled my PC will endless unnecessary software. The cartridges are very cheap too, if you look carefully enough.

Brilliant! And a big well done to Epson.

Set this printer up for three pcs to share in an office. Particularly bought for the duplex scanning facility.

Positives

So far I am very impressed by all aspects of this machine. It was very simple to set up on a BT wireless hub with windows wp professional. No hitches unlike other reviews. Just followed the install instructions and was printing within 30mins.

Sending and receiving faxes was a doddle.

Stores about 150 sheets of paper on a tray under the printer, so no need to keep filling up all the time. It has another paper tray at the back for a different paper type.

Aims to please with soft close top and front cover, and even red LEDs to show you've inserted the inks correctly. Comes with paper and software manuals. The on screen manual is interactive and has a simple search and menu system. Really easy to get help from it.

Printing on greyscale fast mode is rapid and is adequate quality for most purposes.

Duplexer is really clever and enables you to print or scan both sides of documents and generate double sided copies. TIP use the scan software that comes with the machine otherwise scanning takes an age. I was using scan2pdf and found this problem. The canon application is very easy to use and generates pdfs for data storage.

The machine is very quiet (unlike an epson bx310fn I sent back to amazon). It even has a setting which makes it even quieter! For receiving faxes in the night apparently.

Negatives

It doesn't appear to be able to fax a double sided document. I don't know why this is as it should be capable. You can get round this by scanning dbl sided then pcfaxing.

Inks seem quite small so not sure how econimical the printer will be. Sometimes you just have to accept quality doesn't always come cheap.

I recently bought this Printer after having to replace a HP office jet g55 which was great for the time i have had it just needed something with better quality, after reading many reviews and comparing to other All in one printers this one stood out, the one thing that has amazed me the most is the quality of photo prints, having a printer that scans prints faxes and copies, is great but the quality of photos it produces is amazing I compared these to other photos i have had developed in the past and these were good as u can get, the speed in which it does them is great too features like wifi is a bonus, i think now I am going to have to invest in a better camera after seeing what i can produce with this printer, recommend to all.

This network printer from HP is a valuable asset at someone's bussiness. It does everything flawlessly. The install was easy, and as a usb printer, and as a network printer. I would like to mention about the package, because the printer was sent to Greece, that came with no defects.

Very impressed so far!, 2010-02-05
It was with a bit trepidation that I bought this printer. Some of the reviews I read were not great, my past experience of HP printers have not been great. However, I liked the look of the product, it has everything I want/need, and the price was more than tempting!

I've only had it a couple of days, but I have to say I'm very impressed so far. It was extremely easy to set up - I set it up on a Windows 7 laptop, a Vista desktop and a Mac Powerbook G4. The only problems I had were with the Windows 7 machine and that due to Windows 7 software not being on the CD that came with the printer. However after a few minutes on google and the internet I managed to download the entire HP software for Windows 7 and installed it without issue.

So far I've been impressed with the print quality and it's speed. It feels and looks sturdy and all the features seem to work perfectly (haven't used fax yet though!).

I'd have no problems recommending it to anyone I know.
