 very pleased with this phone, 2010-07-29
This is my company phone and I've found it very reliable, solid, robust (i've dropped it twice onto a tiled floor without any visible damage). Great battery life, good music sound quality, perfect mobile surfing tool. All tech spec etc you can find from the Nokia website so I will not go into it here. Picture quality, it also has a panaroma mode+video, on the camera is brilliant. The only downside I can think of for some of u is that it is a physically large phone although very slim; 116mm in length! No stopwatch but one can be downloaded from Ovi site for a few pounds.

First of all,the package with phone came one week earlier,what is great. When I opened inside was vodafone phone kit,I thought it will be no marked phone,but it doesn't matters. The kit contains phone,battery,headphones,USB cable,and some strange charger for UK so I must buy a new one,standard charger for EU. There is no CD with driver,and you have to download it. Phone is SIM unlocked and great looking. For those who don't want an overfunctioned phone,i recommend this one,with really nice design.

this is a brilliant little thing, good camera ( good led flash), wi-fi, brilliant mp3 player with an ipod like feature ( turn sideways and you see all coverflow) good radio and a normal earphone jack!
but.... power manigment is not brilliant, when using some websites (on desktop version) the phone says ''not enough resorces'' and you have to close the page but then again this is not a smart phone it is a powerful feature phone (phone with smart phone features) or it may be me demanding too much from the phone (very likly so if you also have problem then your not alone)
this problem may be solved in phone update so if any one knows please leave comment saying where and how.
this phone is brilliant worth 5 stars with a fault that for me dosnt matter much.
so what you doing reading this, go buy one got (mine for £160 bargin!!!)

Brilliant phone for teens, 2010-06-17
I bought this phone for my teenage daughter and she has absolutely loved it so far. It is easy and quick to set up and she almost immediately got the hang of the touch screen and found finding her way around very simple. For one of the cheaper touchscreens on the market, it is a very stylish, slim and attractive phone. The camera is great for a phone but obviously not as good a digital camera etc. There is also a very long battery life. One thing she did find was that the touchscreen needed calibrating when she first bought it, but that didn't take long and then it was ready for use. Strongly recommend for teenagers and first time touch-screeners.

I have had all sorts of phones, most of them VERY EXPENSIVE, all singing, all dancing up to date touch screens with all the added extras!! most of them give up the ghost after only a few months from the phones software crashing or the lcd screen failing..i got fed up!...so i went "back to basics"..and can truly, honestly say what a great move..The NOKIA 1680 is a supurb, great, flawless phone in every single way!! Granted it is basic, but it does the job, and battery life is outstanding, the best life i have ever had on a phone, it lasts for ages!! its also so light and slim so fits anywhear perfect!!...the buttons feel great & easy to use & has a rubberised feel..it does have a camera & video capture but not 100%..but as a phone, spot on.."IN ALL"...my opinion, after owning probably every phone on the market, this is a fantastic, basic phone which i would, for the price, highly reccomend!!!!!

This phone is no longer available from network operators but can still be bought from independent vendors. The phone is well made, with a nice tactile feel to it. It fits easily into a pocket without being heavy or bulky. The display is clear and bright and the keys work with a positive feeling. Battery life is good. The digital voice recorder is easy to use and gives good sound quality. The camera produces good images but the display is very hard to see in direct sunlight. Phone operation/phonebook/ringtones are all fairly standard.It is supplied with a Windows PC package that lets you create and send text messages and manage your contact book using your PC. This works fine with XP but does not work with Windows 7
