If you want a simple easy to use phone then this is the one for you. Doro market their phones to elderly people with hearing and sight problems but this phone is great for anyone who just wants to make phone calls and texts with minimum of effort. The keys are clear and separated with a large screen and a very loud ring and vibration alerts (you can turn them down or off). It has a very nifty radio with great quality and I think it looks quite classy (my teenage nephews don't agree though!) I was a bit wary about spending so much money but having got one, I love it! In fact I love it so much I bought one for my technophobe 82 year old Mum.

Fabulous phone, 2010-09-02
This is an amazing little phone for the money. I've had Nokia's in the past and thought I was hooked on them but they seem to have lost their way recently so I thought it was time for a change.
The price, compact size and Android made this the most appealing option for me and having thought long and hard I went for it and am very glad I did. It just does everything so well!!!
Despite the small screen size internet works very well on it. The slide out keyboard is a breeze to use even with my big hands and all the widgets that you can download make it something you just can't put down.
Battery is not an issue for me as it's chargeable from a standard mini usb cable and if you sit in front of a computer all day like I do then you just plug it in.
Make sure you get yourself a contract with unlimited internet (I use T-Mobile) as you'll be online constantly.

After months of hesitating about the whole touch technology, i came to my decision of buying this. I'm very glad I did! The Tocco Lite is a smart touch screen phone that definitely deserves five stars. It's wonderful in every way. The touch response is brilliant, the battery life is amazing, the camera is actually good, and it has a really nice display and look to it. Thanks to the touch lock on the screen, i no longer have to worry about accidentally catching buttons or finding myself browsing the internet. I have absolutely no negative points to make about this phone, it's far by the best phone i've ever had, and i still haven't gotten fed up of it, which is unusual for me with phones.

Just the phone I only need a phone for telephone calls and text messages and this phone has a good clear ringing tone set at half volume, whereas some of the other phones I have had I couldn't hear ringing despite being set at highest volume.
I always look for a clamshell style of phone with no concern about
screen being scratched. The Doro meets all my requirements though
I have had more explicit instruction manuals with other phones.

I have had my nokia x6 for about a week and the best part of it is that it's so easy to use. I'm not a techno-whizz or a techn-phobe but I found it incredibly simple. It hasn't frozen on me and I can't say that it takes too long to do some things unlike some other reviewers. The music quality is incredible, possibly even better than my creative zen mp3 player and that's hard to beat. The Nokia 2323 does what it says on the box. The display is clear and large enough to use without squinting or having to use glasses. The ring tones are loud (but not much choice of tones to chose from), the buttons are reasonably large and responsive. No camera, big deal! The battery life is good and will last for 2 weeks on standby. The Nokia software is easy to use, and you can set it up to do emails. A good phone for just making calls and texts.
