I totally refuse to listen to anything bad about this phone. I feel after phones like the iPhone, other touch screen phones become obsolete due to peoples obsessions with them. If anything, I prefer this to phones like that. Someone wrote about contacts earlier as well. You can add favorites to the home tabs, and everything is easy to access and you can customise pretty much everything on the phone. Someone else mentioned not being able to change the touch screens sensitivity.. it doesn't need to be changed, it's only resistive.

I've always been a Sony Ericsson user, and I think this a great outcome from them.

This is a great phone. I got mine after recommendation, and i'm really pleased with it. Regardless to bad reviews i've seen, i've never had any problems with this phone. As for the camera.. wow. I've been using the 9MP function because it's a slightly wider angle, but this is more than enough. The video quality is also great, and the AV cable is really useful for watching stuff on the tv.

A lot of people have spoke about the touch screen being resistive and not as easy to use, but I have to say I don't really agree. I think the touch screen on this phone easily is at the same level of operation as the HTC phones, and they have Capacitive screens.

Overall a great phone, definitely worth the money for what you get!

Almost Perfect!!, 2010-03-03
OK, so your probably thinking there is no such thing as the perfect phone for everyone and your right, but this one almost nailed it for me. I bought this to replace my Nokia N900 which was also almost perfect but not quite for reasons I won't go into here.

I give this 5 stars for being the best Windows Mobile phone currently available, so if Winmo is your thing there is no other place to go. My girlfriend has the iphone and as much as I dislike the iphone package as a whole you really cant argue with the quality if the screen and the ease of text input and having used the iphone, the HTC unfortunately does not compare in this respect when you first take it out of the box. If I was writing this review after one day of using it I would be giving it 2 stars. However after a week I have now got used to the extreemly sensitive screen and can now operate the phone properly. You have to be patient for the first few days then you will start to love this phone.

The only other dissapointing thing when comparing to the iphone or Android phones is the lack of downloadable apps on Windows Marketplace. This should improve though in time.

Other than that the phone looks and feels stunning, comes with all usual Windows productivity software and the screen is delicious, the best around. It is also very very fast. I use it to watch TV when out and about by linking into my Slingbox at home (you have to purchase Sling Mobile software) but it works brilliantly.

So to summarise I give this 5 stars for being the best Windows phone by a mile. I would equate this to 90% so its not perfect and will take a few days to get it just right for you and get used to the screen but it will be worth the effort. Recommended

A great phone for texting, 2010-01-23
I bought this phone for my wife and she loves it! The phone is great for texting and normal calls, but she has not used many of the other functions, so we can't comment on them. The only reason it is not a 5* is that the bluetooth is not compatible with our car's (Toyota) built in handsfree which is a real pain and a deal breaker if I'd known in advance! I assumed that bluetooth was bluetooth and never knew that some phones have different compatibility ... be warned and check your handsfree kit before you purchase this or any other phone.

Great!, 2010-02-27
My means of transport is a scooter, ridden in all weathers. I also have a horse. Both of these entail mud, wet & vibrations. I once had a lovely, rubberised phone, but that eventually died. I saw the Samsung Solid tested (to destruction) on the Gadget Show, and thought that was ideal for me. I was unable to get one of those, but then saw this one. The same, but better. Very smart looking, automatic key pad lock (a little TOO quickly, sometimes) and tough. Haven't dropped it in the mud yet, but feel safe in the knowledge that it would survive. Feels good in the hand. I don't use the internet connection (I've got a computer for that) and I have a camera for pictures.
The only crticism I have is the rubbish ringtones available, and the lack of automatic selection in the phonebook (where you press a key and it jumps to names with those letters). I look forward to having this phone for a looong time.

It does what it says on the tin.
There is not much difference in i68+ and i9+++ any way, the spec is pretty much the same, major difference is the design of i9+++ is better. Worth investing.

This phone hits all the right buttons for someone who, in our case, has always hated mobile phones.

The Binatone a straightforward mobile phone with text messaging option. Nothing else.

It's simple to set up and to use and is ideal if your fingers don't like little keypads, your eyesight's not what it used to be for small letters and numbers and you loathe anything vaguely techie.

It isn't particularly pretty, more retro. But it is brilliant as it fulfills a much needed gap in the mobile phone market.

Even better, you provide the SIM card. So you can choose which network is best for you.

The keypad lock is brilliant. Just a slider at the side.
