The phone does look cheap but the emergency SOS button is a good feature. However the instructions are written in tiny print which is a bit contradictory considering this phone is intended for the elderly and therefore not necessarily with brilliant eyesight otherwise the buyer wouldn't be considering a big button phone in the first place.

Good if its what your looking for, 2010-07-23
This is the nokia that everybody will think of when you say an old nokia. This little phone today however is inferior however that is what i use it for. Being a black and white phone and having few functions gives it extended battery life and makes it a good phone for taking on holiday where you do not need all the add ons of your normal phone and due to the low cost if you lose this it is not the end of the world. I would also recommend this as a first phone due to it being very easy to use and does not have anything that confuse a less electronically minded person.

I have had all sorts of phones, most of them VERY EXPENSIVE, all singing, all dancing up to date touch screens with all the added extras!! most of them give up the ghost after only a few months from the phones software crashing or the lcd screen failing..i got fed up!...so i went "back to basics"..and can truly, honestly say what a great move..The NOKIA 1680 is a supurb, great, flawless phone in every single way!! Granted it is basic, but it does the job, and battery life is outstanding, the best life i have ever had on a phone, it lasts for ages!! its also so light and slim so fits anywhear perfect!!...the buttons feel great & easy to use & has a rubberised feel..it does have a camera & video capture but not 100%..but as a phone, spot on.."IN ALL"...my opinion, after owning probably every phone on the market, this is a fantastic, basic phone which i would, for the price, highly reccomend!!!!!

What a brilliant wee phone. Looks stylish, super-sleek and is really easy to use. Has a great camera and video camera, sound recording, music player, FM radio, internet oh, and it's a phone too. The screen makes it easy to follow instructions, and you can attach a memory card. And the battery lasts for ages too.

All in all, for the money, I'd highly recommend it.

Best fone I ever bought , been looking for a while now and my friend had a tocca light took a look and I just had to have it . Reccomend to anyone who's looking for touch fone get the tocca light.

Very happy with this phone, I got it to upgrade my E51 so I could type emails quicker. I havent had any problems with it, works like a charm. The upgraded OS edition on these phones is smoother as well, I like the new file search facility and the internet radio on it. Cant fault this at all. Setting up gmail was really easy too with the email setup wizard. Now my phone vibrates every time I get an email, very convenient. Very good the way the screen tilts from portrait to landscape when you tilt the phone (in-built sensor). And the front camera was a nice bonus I didnt know about which has made it possible for me to do free video calls with the Fring application.
Works great with SIP calls as well - a feature too many phones lack.
