This is exactly as advertised. I bought this just to getthe middle plug in section for a master socket, to replace a stupid ADSL replacement soneone had installed. Didn't have to invalidate or touch any of the BT wiring in the process. Would have been nice to have been able to buy the middle plug without the whole master socket section though. Thus 4 stars

These are my first crimp ends as I'm an RJ45 virgin. I'm creating a 50m long solid-core UTP cable for an internet TV project so I can get a network into a nearby concert venue. I wasn't sure if these crimp terminals would work with solid-core cables. Well, they do. They just require that you have all the leads trimmed to the exact same length and spend a minute or so working all 8 as far in as they will go, and it all works perfectly. These seem very cheap and they are very straightforward to use.
