Good alternative to a BT phone, 2009-06-11 Searched around for ages for a twin phone at a reasonable price and this set kept coming up trumps!
Good points: -
The phones are stylish and look expensive.
The reception on both phones is very good (1 in the lounge and 1 in the bedroom, even if someone is using the internet or microwave, which usually causes some interferance)
You can copy the phonebook from one phone to the other.
Sound clarity is good and clear.
Bad points: -
Poor choice of ring tones.
You can't turn off the display on a night when it's in the cradle, so you have to take it out for the display to turn off. Keeps me awake at night as it's quite bright!
Notes: -
You can turn on the speaker phone and turn it off when on a call. You press the speaker phone button to turn the speaker phone on and then when you want to turn it off your press the green talk button to talk normally!!!
A very good phone for the price and highly recommended.

Full of features, easy to use, 2009-06-28 Bought this phone from Amazon last week and it is miles better than our old phone. It is very stylish and easy to use as well as having lots of features such as text messaging, a really good answer phone and 200 number capacity. Amazon were also offering it at a very good price.

Recommended, 2009-05-08 This is an easy to use phone with clear sound and is pleasing to use and the answer machine is handy too. What more does the average user need?
I'd definitely recommend it. My only minor complaint is that the back lit LCD screen goes dark after just a few seconds of inactivity. I'm not sure if this can be adjusted but I can easily live with it.

Well worth the money, 2009-07-03 Purchased this phone after a 'trio' set of BT handsets stopped working! Well worth the money. Very sturdy, but stylish handset. Answermachine can be accessed from either handset. Very easy to install the 'phone book. Has capacity to send texts. Would recommend this as a good value, easy to use, but very functional handset.

Panasonic KXTG8324 - Great purchase, 2009-06-11 We ahve a large 4 bedroom house. The phone works perfectly in every regard. Some ringtones are perhaps a little odd but that's personal taste and we use one of the "classical" tunes. Great value for money and it worked straight from the box. Highly recommended.

It bleeps!, 2009-05-15 I have a set of BT Studio 1500 phones with an answering machine built into the base station. It's not brilliant. The main problem is the absence of an audible alert to inform that a message is waiting; there is only a small light in a cluster with two other lights that can easily be missed. Also the buttons are small and poorly laid out. I bought the BT Response 75 to replace the answer phone function which I have now switched off.
The BT Response 75 has all of the normal answer phone functions, but has three advantages over the built in answering machine on the phone. The buttons are well laid out, it has a display to show how many messages are waiting, and most important of all it ..... yes, it actually bleeps!

A bit of a handsome brute!, 2009-06-04 Remember the days when telephones were black, heavy, had no dial and on picking up the large handset and clamping it to your ear a plummy, well trained voice (usually female) was heard to say "number please caller?" Well none of the above comments apply to the BT Freestyle 750. It is splendid in all respects. I have only had mine for a fairly short time but have quickly come to the conclusion that this phone should be aimed at the market generally , not just the elderly, arthritic and those with hearing problems. (Why should they have all the fun !!) Its great to have the excellent sound quality and the chunky buttons that not only look good but reduce the risk of a miss-dial if a finger slips off a tiny button that is more usual on these type of handsets. The phone has a certain coolish appeal and is pretty easy to do the basic set-up, though there is a little ambiguity that can be overcome by reading the instruction sheet half a dozen times! Establishing the 'phonebook' is a point in question; particularly if you wish to arrange your useful numbers in groups; friends, family, local tradesmen, doctors and dentists and so on for example. Not a lot in the quick guide about that, although some success can be achieved by just experimenting with the menu and arrows on the handset. There is no full manual included in the box and it would be required reading to take advantage of all the capabilities of this phone; for example accessing your answer-fone messages externally or to read about the inductive loop for those with hearing aids. There are quite a few things that this phone can do and which you will be incapable of using without the full manual. This can be seen on the web to dip into or to down load - but be warned it's around 60 pages long and quite complex. But with some deft, skilful use of a printing programme you can get two pages on one side of an A4 sheet and print double sided too if you so wish. The quick installation guide is just for setting up in the most basic operational condition and this is probably all that most people require. Nothing is perfect but all said this is a nice phone. The best I've had. Reasonable choice of basic, if rather strident, ringtones - nothing silly or demanding you to sing along with - adjustable sound level that leaves nothing to be desired, and a crisp and clear easy to use answer-fone facility. Its also quite attractive to look at. Okay, the handset is very slightly on the large size (but only slightly!) and maybe a few grams heavier than some others (but only a bit). But what the hec. its only a telephone not the space shuttle!

Great phone system, 2009-06-28 Purchased the Panasonic 8323 to replace a BT phone that had caused us problems for some time.
Very pleased with all aspects of the Panasonic.
The handsets are solid and attractive with a good quality colour screen with variable colours and backgrounds. As someone remarked, they do stay well lit when in the base unit which for some was a bit distracting at night if next to the bed. I haven't found this a problem.. just turn it away from you.
Good variety of ringtones with distinctive ones for each handset if you wish and good clear tone with adjustable volume. Able to be used as an intercom system and with satisfactory speaker facility. All handsets can be used for several people to join in an incoming call.
Set-up instructions clear to follow.
Happy to recommend.

GREAT SET OF PHONES, 2009-06-17 I read the reports and decided to order these phones and I have to say I have no regrets. They are great. I programmed all my numbers into the first phone and easily transferred them to the second phone. All functions on the phones are straightforward and I have no problems using them in the garden. Some people complained of the ring tones. To be honest they don't bother me at all, just my 14 year old son said they were annoying.
Great product.
