This is a handy little phone the speaker feature is really handy & could only be better if you could use it in the charger.
the sound is crisp & clear. The battery life is better then i expected also.
In general I'm very happy to recommend this to all.

I have had this model for almost two years and only just experienced my first minor problem and this is due to the batteries needing replacing. Yes, the menu may be limited but what do you need a phone to do - be able to make and answer calls. Caller display is fine but the battery compartment is shallow and the batteries can be displaced easily. No problems with this phone.

Excellent phone, especially the speakerphone, 2010-01-24
Bought this a while ago elsewhere (£25 delivered). No complaints after a few months. Easy to set up and use, the base unit being separate from the phone worked well for me. The speakerphone is exceptionally clear and loud, handy when dealing with automated answering systems where you have to wait ages to speak to someone.

I did change the AAA batteries for a pair of 950mAh that I had handy, just seemed a good idea given previous experience, can't say if I really needed to. Easily connected an old Binatone DECT as a second phone (it's not used much at all) so I'll keep my second Motorola handset as a spare should I ever need it.

Hightly recommended.

Very good pair of telephones.
I have been buying Philips DECT phones for years and this, for a variety of reasons, is the 7th pair.
Reliable, good sound quality, batteries may not deliver the claimed talk/ off hook times
but on the other hand last for many years of use.
The answer machine is easy to set up and use.
