Great phone but camera is poor in low light.., 2008-02-13 I've been forced to update this review after using the camera for a wedding reception and a night out. It did pretty bad only giving me a couple of usable shots that look like they were taken on an early VGA digital camera. The camera is not good folks. When I test it at home it works fine, but when I wanna use it socially it fails on me! I can't change star rating but if I could it would be 3.5 stars now. Great on style, good phone, but average camera. Don't think it compares to k800i/n73 just cos its 3 megapixels. Megapixels are vastly overrated, even with my digital camera I can take shots at 2MP and hardly tell difference from 7MP. Its the optics, sensor quality, and lens that make difference and because samsungs so small it can't let enough light into its tiny lens so has severe shutter lag.
{previous review}
In fairly poor indoor light it takes mine 5 seconds to take and save a photo, not that bad. And thats with autofocus on. If you switch it off its more like 3 seconds. Thats far better than my old nokia n73 for instance which took about 10 seconds to load the camera application then a further 3-5 to focus and save it!
If shutter lag is a problem select ISO 400 and then it will use a much quicker setting at the expense of some image noise. Try taking a picture indoors without a flash on a proper digicam and it will have similar issues. Its the lack of a proper flash which causes these problems.
Its not as good as a proper digital camera, my sony P150 is in a totally different league, but for a phone the camera is actually very good. I had a K800i and that was better due to its full flash but that was also a bulky thing to carry about and outdoors the shots were still no where near the equal of a camera. This samsung is very slim and works nicely. Perhaps they fixed the camera bug with latest firmware.

Powerfreakz
Brilliant..., 2009-12-25 I have to say this product is well worth the investment. I got mine just a week ago and wanted it as I was going to the USA for Christmas and needed an extra boost for my Ipod Touch. Typically I like to watch videos but find that the Touch drains of all power after about 90 minutes of videos. Before leaving home I fully charged the Ipod, the Powerfreakz and purchased 18 half hour videos from itunes. Result was wonderful. When I got to Kansas City via Manchester and Chicago the Ipod was registering fully charged and the Powerfreakz was still showing 50% power remaining. And I watched almost all of the videos.
As I travel a lot I reckon it is a must have on any trip. Well done.

- Charge your mp3 player from the wall - using your existing sync cable
- output voltage : 5V
- output current : 500mA
- 3 Pin CE certified plug
Good enough, just., 2010-06-11 Having read the other reviews about these devices failing when first used I decided to order three at once, since they are so cheap.
True to form - one worked once and then was dead (it didn't blown up like others found, it just stopped working) - the other two are in regular use and, so far anyway, are working fine.
These things are so cheap there is no point sending back the failed one. Overall these are what I expected: cheap and just reliable enough unless you're unlucky!

Great Case, 2008-04-10 This medium size case fits my motorola razor2 v8 perfectly, when its placed around your neck it sits comfortably and doesn't seem to muffle the sound of your phone ringing like some cases do.
The only drawback is when you lean forward it gets in the way abit, so best to place under your jumper or t-shirt.
