- Incredibly small, portable, and smart USB flash drive
- Retractable USB port eliminates the need for caps and protects your USB connector
- Includes Skype, CruzerSync desktop synchronization, antivirus software, and SignupShield password manager
- Brilliant amber LED
- U3 Smart enabled
Handy retractable case, 2008-08-02 Just to add to all the other reviews, the whole device retracts into its case protecting the USB connector. This avoids the need for a separate cover which can easily be mislaid.

Great card at a small price, 2008-07-30 Everyone knows about this card's storage space available. Though now there the Extreme IV and Ducati versions, with speed over 40MB/s, you really need a top-end camera or card reader.
But these babies now are presented in the 30MB/s version, well above what my camera can cope and even more than my Extreme USB reader can muster.
The speed, combined with no faults in years of severe usage/abuse, and a no-frills warranty make this the safest buy.
I wouldn't go above 4GB for security purposes.
Have I mentioned they're dirty cheap? :)

A very good buy!, 2008-08-12 To be as practical as possible a flash memory drive needs to be small and this little device (as the name suggests) is tiny which means its also light weight and compact. In the past I have used FMDs that are so bulky they prevented me from using the other USB ports, which I found most irritating but this device doesn't have that problem at all. Past FMDs with bulky casings felt unnecessary and less tough, with this device I feel there's less chance of me breaking it especially with its metal casing and clear polyurethane skin.
On that note of the polyurethane skin, it feels better than the usual cheap hard plastic casings prone to cracking. It lends protection against shock but also the weather and with our British weather thats a big plus, however, I wouldn't suggest submerging it in water (yet that goes without saying about most electronic devices). It also doesn't fly quite as far across the table as my other FMD when I accidently knock it.
The bright orange LED is a plus in my book! In bright sunlight it can be difficult to see the LEDs on some other memory sticks but this device combats that very well. The only time I would possibly find it annoying is if I used it in the dark for a long period of time.
The cap fits snug and securely, thus less chance of losing it. Due to the lanyard connection the cap doesn't fit over the end but if you're scared of losing or forgetting the cap while in use, use your common sense and put it in your pocket! I personally prefer the keyring loop to be on the memory stick itself rather than on the cap.
Copying and storing files on this device is very quick and easy. You will of course notice that it does only show to have 7.47GB compared to the promised 8GB but surely everyone knows by now that with any memory storage you don't get the full memory capacity listed.
Nothing is perfect but this is the best device I've seen for my needs (so far). A great solid little device well worth 5 stars.

2 GB secure digital memory card suitable for use with digital cameras Stores up to 2368 compressed images depending on camera model, resolution and compression High transfer rate for fast copying and downloading."
All you'll ever need., 2008-08-12 Great little card - I've had one in my D50/D200 for three years and taken over 20 000 shots with no problems. Write speeds are excellent, even with RAW capture.
This card with hold 1000 JPG (normal) shots on my 6.1MP Nikon, and nearly 300 in RAW.
If you're looking at this and thinking 'why not buy a big 4GB or 8GB card', which are pretty cheap also, check first to make sure your camera supports SDHC (which most of the big MB cards are) - don't get stuck! My D50 for example doesn't support SDHC and therefore this 2GB card is the 'biggest' one that it'll take.
I can't see anyone needing more than 2GB on a normal camera between downloads, unless they're away for a long period. In which case, just pick up two or three - it's not like they are expensive, is it.
Postage from Amazon agreed is an absolute shocker - clearly, that's where resellers make up their profits (like EBay sellers have been doing for years).
So, but two or three from the high street, but in terms of quality and reliability, they don't get much better than this.

- Faster write speed means less time between shots 9MB/second
- Read performance 1MB/second
- Provides the durability and high speed quality needed for advanced amateur photographers and photo enthusiasts
- Lifetime warranty
Quick and sturdy, 2008-06-22 Bought this in March 2006 for my Canon Ixus 50.
No problems so far and occasionally it goes into a 12MP camera from work and seems to have no problem dealing with RAW files from that camera (such is the speed).
I have always rated SanDisk for memory cards and haven't had a reason to doubt them yet.

SanDisk is proud to announce our newest format and capacity to the SD card family: SD High Capacity (SDHC) 4GB flash card.
Please note this is an SDHC card. Not all devices support SDHC 4.0GB cards. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC Logo on the product or packaging of your new camera or digital camcorder, or contact your device manufacturer for details. Click here for more information on compatibility. We suggest using the following card reader with these SDHC cards (click here).
Good Card, 2008-08-13 Sandisk make good quality kit, but there is a problem with SDHC in that you will probably need a SDHC card reader for your laptop/computer. I have 2 laptops 1 HP and a Toshiba both with SD card readers, neither like SDHC so I had to buy a USB SDHC reader and it works a treat. I will point out that this is not the fault of the card or card manufacturer, but if you have to have a bigger card then its new technology and you will need new kit, otherwise buy 2 2Gb cards they will be OK.

Works with the HTC-S710, 2008-08-04 I've uploaded a couple of photos of what I received from Amazon on 2-Aug-2008; the microSDHC card and SD adapter.
The card works with my HTC-S710 Windows Mobile Smartphone.
It amazes me that such a tiny card can hold so much data and cost so little. It's so small that it isn't something I want to take out and put back into my phone on a regular basis because it is so fiddly to handle; I'll leave the data transferring to Bluetooth.
