EXCELLENT Product! Works fine with Sky+, 2010-07-22
I bought this to move my Sky+ box into the bedroom. It's set up in the following way and works brilliantly. Main Phone socket->adsl filter. From this I have the Home hub on the modem bit of the filter and the black cable supplied with RTX going to master unit. I then have a 2 way splitter coming out of the master unit which goes to the sky+HD and the other cable going to the regular house phone.
Upstairs I have the slave unit plugged into the sky+ box and it works a treat. remember and put the switch on the slave unit to "C" for computer and it's away you go.
If you want to make sure it's working you can perform a call back on your sky+ box.
To do a call back:
1. Press "services" followed by the number 4 on your sky remote.
2. Press 0, 1 then "select" which will bring up the installer menu.
3. Press number 3.
4. Using the down button select "dialling prefix"
5. Type in 1, 4, 7, 0.
6. Go down to "save new settings" and press select. Make sure no-ones on the phone.
You should then get a "call back in progress message.
After a few minutes, if you have it connected properly then your screen should go back to the installer setup menu and that's you done. If it says it's not succesful then you need to check you've got all your filters and things right.

Incidentally, most things which are bought online (including these wireless phone units) are covered by the Distance selling Regulations. This means that a customer has the right to cancel a sale within 7 days of receipt of the item for ANY REASON THEY LIKE. Which means that you can buy these, open them up (try not to damage the packaging though) try them out and if you really can't get them to work then send them back. You are entitled to a full refund BY LAW. The DSR's normally require that you notify a seller within 7 days of receipt but Amazon are really good and give you round about a month. Just use their online returns form. Faulty goods are covered by other regulations like the Sale of Goods Act. The Distance Selling Regulations apply to anything bought online or over the phone as well as catalogues etc. Basically anything which you're unable to physically examine before you buy.

Brilliant product, enables me to receive local calls here in Cyprus and also call family in the UK via Skype using the phone - no longer need to mess about with headphones etc and the PC. Have also set up a Skype UK number that we answer here in Cyprus which enables people in the UK to call us at local rates. Can also export your whole phone directory from Skype on the PC to the phone - much easier than typing all details into the handset. If this phone could receive faxes which you could then print out on your PC it would be 100% perfect!

An Excellent Phone, 2010-05-05
I bought the Dualphone 3o88 to cut my ever increasing telephone bills. I have purchased a one year subscription for unlimited worldwide calls with Skype. The Dualphone works without any hitches. It took me about 15 minutes to get the phone up and running. When ringing out to a landline via Skype the calls are clear. If my 95 year old father can hear me ok then it's got to be good. I have added an additional handset to make the system more versatile. It can double as an intercom with the other handset. I have had no problems with the range, it has not dropped out anywhere within my premisses. The other bonus with the phone is that it receives and makes landline calls, hence the name "DualPhone". I can only speak as I find and I have found this phone to be an excellent product.

Superb piece of equipment!, 2009-09-16
I have to disagree with the previous reviewer I'm afraid. I bought these phones to replace the 'PC required' US Robotics phones that I used for SkypeOut. They were an absolute doddle to set up and I have now had them for several months without a single problem. Sound quality is good (to me) whether I use landline or SkypeOut, in fact the person at the other end cannot tell the difference. Oh, and I live miles from anywhere so it's not because I have an 8Mb internet connection.

I like the way the phone tells you if there is a firmware update available. For me this means that as they develop and improve the system, the company will automatically update your system for you too. I don't have to go hunting for updates.

All in all, this is an excellent solution if you use Skype and don't want to have a base station hanging out of a PC or laptop. It gives you the freedom to wander round the house talking on the phone with excellent quality and a superb range. The hardest part about using this phone is to remember to select whether you want to use Skype or a landline to dial the number you have just entered... hardly a showstopper to me.

Great product, 2010-05-14
I have been using skype to phone home for the past two years. Ihave subscribed to skype out Europe program.
The quality sound is much better with the RTX phone. It's a great plus that i can go anywhere in the house and talk without carrying the laptop with me. Simple to use interface. The only minus was that it doesnot support greek characters so i had to rename all my contacts again back to greeklish!!
The delivery was quick and i wish that liGo was delivering to other European countries exc Gr. Britain.

I bought this as I am a home worker with an office in the garden, if you ignore the setup instructions included with the product and instead follow the instructions listed by another reviewer here it is a doddle to set up, as for performance I am very pleased the quality of the signal I get in my office is as good as in the house.

Nifty solution!, 2010-08-22
Works as an easy solution where you need another phone socket elsewhere in the house without having to run cables everywhere. Easy to set up/pair the devices and works great for phones. Still a few issues with the Sky HD box, but I'll bet the issue is with the Sky box! (Wish they'd swap to ethernet!)
