What's to say. They are RAM discs, they came quickly, well packed and they work just fine. Those with Panasonic DVD players will know their virtues - for anybody else, these discs enable you to record and watch the same programme at the same time. If you get back home say at 9.15 you can have that 9.00 programme recording and then start to watch from the beginning while, at the same time, the machine records the end! It's great for enabling you to skip over intrusive ads too!

I bought this, and i am not dissapointed at all. Infact it is much better than i imagined it would be, it is relatively easy to upload videos to the computer and edit them. I bought this camera for youtube and it works fine, so if thats your purpose i would certainly reccomend this. If your looking at the quality of this then videos where i have used this camera will come up if you search nickbenger on youtube (why to get a dog) is the video in which i used this camera...however the quality is even better than that if your watching it from the camera or straight up on the screen. I found this camera really easy to use and very efficient.

I waited a few months before writing a review for the telephones to be sure they were as good as they appeared. The clarity of sound on them is excellent (I find it hard to hear on previous phones we have had) the reception through our thick stone walls is great. The features are all as advertised. The functions are clear and easy to use

I Bought this camera a few weeks ago primarily to film my sons Athletics events, having tried before to video using my digital compact camera and having found it somewhat restrictive.

I looked at many reviews including the latest Panasonic High definition cameras and ended taking a bit of a gamble with this one as there were no reviews at the time but the reviews of it's features were what had attracted me to it's HD brothers. I went for the standard definition as my main usage is to upload to 'you tube' and link to websites for which standard definition seems to be fine.

Having now been at two track meetings one without a tripod and one recently using my 25yr old Slik 88 tripod I would agree with the other review I have just read that a tripod is best at high magnification though the image stabilisation works really well. I am looking for a video tripod now to make the panning a little less rough.

The 80 gig hard drive is plenty for holidays etc and you have the additional option of an SD memory card if required so there are really no limits on storage. I am very pleased with the end results the zoom has enabled me to get close in to any part of the track from wherever I have positioned myself and the software that came with it makes it really easy to upload to you tube. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to create a link here to show but I am certainly impressed.

The camera feels solid, probably helped with the hard drive on the side, the SD card fits in securely unlike one of the other Panasonic cameras where this was mentioned as a problem, I have average sized hands and found operating both the zoom and the lcd panel menus comfortable and intuitive

I still have lots to play with on this but have to say I would certainly recommend this camera for my sort of use and holidays, I also did a little bit of indoor filming and was pleased with that.

A brilliant camera!, 2010-06-08
I had this camera for my birthday. The best camera I have ever had - easy to carry, easy to use & does everything I could possibly want of a camera. This camera does more than a large, heavy bag of 35mm camera, lenses & other bits & pieces I had a few years ago & produces better pictures! The zoom (10X intelligent optical) is amazing for such a small camera. Even on maximum optical plus digital zoom (about 40X), the photos seem to be clear & relatively shake-free without using a tripod (I did an experiment photographing a car about 100 meters away & then zoomed in on the number plate - incredible!). The video quality is also superior to a large digital camcorder that I had a few years ago. I haven't yet explored all the possibilities with the various settings as the camera produces superb photos every time in the auto mode. Not cheap, but overall, a brilliant camera!

I am happy with this, but it isn't as sharp as I expected, I have had and do own other Panasonic cameras, I wanted one to fit in my pocket, and this does. It wont replace my larger camera as the results are not as good. the menu selection could be easier, if you want to take a picture in a hurry the subject will have gone before you find correct setting. Also took some of my daughters party [ disco] even on party setting/ or fireworks/night setting /pictures were blurred.
