Haven't used my LG arena touch screen since I had my Blackberry
I never put it down + brilliant emailing (I have 3 addresses comming into it)
+ Contacts, Calendar are all sync with my Outlook
+ Excellent web browser, it is so easy to use, add/retrieve favourites/history, screen is really easy to read and navigate
+ Great apps +lot of freebies including great book reader and streaming world radio
- Camera is only 3 meg (I think) and no flash, but it's easy to use (few common settings) and the picture quality is perfect for even the best computer monitor/email/mms/web/facebook/desktop wallpapers etc, which I'm doing all the time + in fact I use reduced resolution to make it smaller for sending
+ Great games + all downloads are handled by Blackberry App which is easy + lot of free games
+ Came with 2 gig card but I'm using it with 8 gb
+ MP3 player, sort by Artist, Album, Song title, etc + std 3.5 mm jack
+ Battery lasts forever

Best phone AND mp3 player I've owned so far, 2010-08-25
As the title states not only is this the best phone I've ever owned (and believe me at 35 I've owned a LOT of phones) but this is hands down the best mp3 player I've ever owned also.

This is the first time I can ever remember having to turn the volume down whilst listening to music, the volume is amazing and the sound quality is simpley superb, music can run in the background with or without interuptions from calls,text,emails or instant messagest etc.

To hold this handset is really nice, nice weight, really nice feel, texting can be a little awkward for the first couple of days if you have gone from a regular phone to a qwerty keyboard but once you get used to it you'll find its better and quicker than for example having to press a key 4 times just to get a letter S?!?!?

I have hooked up my hotmail and facebook to send me alerts and the e.mail side of it is really impressive, my friend has an Iphone and if we both get sent E.mails via work mine comes through a lot quicker than his (instant vs up to an hour). If your comparing this to the Iphone (and lets be honest most people do) then you have to ask yourself a few questions? What do YOU want it for? Yeah the Iphone has thousands of apps but the Blackberry has its onwn fair share of apps too and everything I've wanted so far i've found from Addidas MiCoach, Ebay app, Online Banking App even down to a handy cocktail recipe app i downloaded at a recent party much to the amusement (and enjoyment) of some of my family. Touch screen is a massive MASSIVE turn off for me and was the deciding factor when chosing my latest handset and I'm more than happy with my choice

Internet is super fast, with the usual favorites, history, google search etc.

Blackberry Messenger!!!! For those who are not aware of this it is a feature installed in all blackberrys that enables the owner to send an instant message (like sms) to anyone in the world who has a blackberry (providing you have there pin-number) this is a MASSIVE feature and a big big thumbs up as it saves you a fortune on sms/mms messages because you can send photos as well ALL FREE OF CHARGE from blackberry to blackberry!

Ringtones are loud and fully customisable including a very handy "bedside mode" where you can control what alerts come through and what dont (let be honest nobody wants to be woken up at 5am because some loon has tagged you in a photo on facebook do they?) battery life is really good and can be lengthened by turning off bluetooth, wifi and even dimming the screen from 100% to 70% which is hardly noticabe. The screen itself is fantastic, Avi's play seamlessly and the built in speaker is really quite loud too so watching videos to share with friends doesn't require you to have an earphone each! My only complaint about this phone is some of the apps that you have to buy are for functions that you really would expect for free, for example Hands Free? Being able to turn the flash on to use as a torch? these are things that where the norm on my previous much less expensive phone but that being said its a small criticism of what can only be described as an all round fantastic phone with tonnes and tonnes of very handy features and is very customisable indeed.
Be a sheep and by and Iphone or get a spine and buy a blackberry........its the smarter choice

All in all I can't praise this phone enough and I'm glad I made the decission to go for this over the Iphone because as appealing as the Iphone is the touch screen was a major decission maker and Blackberry Messenger swung the balance. The Blackberry Bold 9700 does everything I want it to and more. I am a proud member of Team Blackberry!!!

Micro USB Cable - using with HTC Desire, 2010-06-18
Bought a couple of these as I needed a micro USB cables for my HTC Desire. Good quality thick cable and about 1.0m long. Just to be clear this is the micro USB (as stated in the other review, mini is squarer, micro is flatter). They seem to work fine with our HTC Desires so far.

The cables arrived very quickly (next day) and each was well packaged in its own little separate envelope. Great service and great cable - I have just bought 5 more for my colleagues!

Excellent product that fits my phone perfectly, protects around the edges while still giving access to connectors, camera etc, and still allows the phone to slide comfortably into a Blackberry pouch type case - bit too tight in the Blackberry belt case though.

After reading reviews I decided to but this for my blackberry thinking it was going to be a bit big so the clip on case I bought for my blackberry would make it slightly larger and hold it in perfectly. However, I don't seem to have the same troubles as everyone else. The case fits like a dream. I can turn it upside down and shake and my phone stays in place perfectly. It's a bit tight now I've applied a clip on case to my phone but it still works well and is nice and thick to give my phone lots of protection. I imagine it'll loosen up with the case after a bit.
The magnet mechanism works wonders and it looks really smart. There is protrusion out the top of the case like everyone else has mentioned but overall my phone is protected and saves energy. For the price and free shipping it's so worth buying.
