Like many people, I was very wary about buying such a cheap cable, even after reading the many positive reviews.

I visited a high street retailer who recommended a cable costing £60, after searching around I picked out this cable for 51p and I must say that this cable has made a massive difference in the quality of the picture when using my PS3.

I highly recommend anyone this cable, especially those people who look at it and think it will be no good as it is so cheap - buy it and see for yourself.

Sony does it again, 2008-05-26
I bought this a few days ago. Transfer speed is great. My PC is an over clocked (to 3.0ghz) core 2 duo and as such it transfers stuff quickly anyway.

Filled the card with music in 14 minutes. From a review I read about a San Disk M2 card, I would recommend paying a few quid extra for the Sony card.

These things are so small though!

It didn't come with an adaptor.

I got these earphones for my birthday 3 years ago and they have only now started going in 1 ear. Sound quality is great, only problem is i do go to they gym and the wee connection bit does pull the earphones out.

They are very comfy as there are rubber bits supplied to cushion in the ear. Would buy them again if it wasnt for the running.

I bought my 818 last week, and having had a week to pore through the onCD manual, I am still nowhere near being able to transfer video files to the player! But that is nothing as I only got it to listen to music on. And Boy, does it do that well. I have £55 worth of Sennheiser phones that are superb, and the Sonys are at least as good. I haven`t yet tried the Senns on the Sony player, but if they are better than the Sony ones, it will only be measureable on electronic measuring equipment. Likewise the performance difference between the Sony and its `bete noir`, the iPod. No-one has senses good enough to tell the two apart purely by listening, so it all boils down to what is in the box. And that is where the iPod might come out ahead. It has a radio on board, and arguably a better navigation set-up. But the wheel can be a touch sensitive, and that is annoying. You need to be a bit more `definite` with the Sony, but you make fewer mistakes. Anyway, everyone and his mate has got an iPod now, which gives the Sony that `exclusive touch`. And let`s face it, that`s exactly why everyone bought iPods in the first place..... The nub of it all is that preference is a subjective thing. You like something or you don`t. I like, LOVE, the Sony, and am glad I didn`t become vegetarian, because apples have got so tasteless these days.

Incompatiblity with SD card readers, 2008-07-20
You may need a 'micromate USB sdhc adapter', or equivalent generic adapter, if you want to transfer to and from a PC and the memory at high speed (I get around 4Mbps writing and around 10Mbps reading sustained speeds with a generic SDHC compatible USB adapter).

Many SD card readers, even the USB 2.0 ones I have that are less than a year old, do not support SDHC.

The SD card adapter supplied is only a physical form factor adapter it has no electronic communications adaptation capability.

Without a 'micromate' USB adapter, or equivalent, expect problems of locking up explorer and an unrecognised card in MS Windows computer-browser when the SDHC-card in the supplied SD-form-factor adapter is inserted into an SD-card-reader that does not support SDHC. (I found simply removing the card from an incompatible reader unlocked 'computer browser' from hanging, on MS Vista).

Otherwise connect a compatible phone, sound recorder, camera etc with the SDHC card installed in the device, via USB, or other communications transfer hardware, for useable, if potentially slow, transfers. I get read speeds of around 200kbps using this transfer method.

Rating Would have been 5 stars if this information was published and easy to find.

I ordered this item yesterday eveing, and it arrived this morning! I guess that's more to do with the supplier, rather than the product itself.

I have not used it all that long, but as far as I can see there are no defects with the card.

What I'd really like to say is to those idiots complaining about postage. It said in the letter that came with the card:

"Please note postage £4.50 for each item is fixed by Amazon under Electronics & Photo category and can not be changed, total prices have been justified"

So please stfu and leave your complaints about the postage somewhere else, because this is not the fault of the supplier or the manufacturer. If you only want to take your perspective into account and not Amazon's business views, take it up with them or take a hike :)

I`m not sure if the information I found was correct, but I have found out that the sdhc card will only work in 35 products in the world. Great product! just make sure your device is compatable !

I read the mostly possitve reviews and I have to say, this item is better than expected. the point about the case moving the hold slidder have obviously been tasken on board and a redesign has produced a cut away over allowing me to put my NWZA818 on or off hold whenever I want.
